Wohoo Nov

I am so excited to finally have gotten all the pics through Oct posted - calls for another Woohoo! Ok, so I have to get Nov pics up soon so I can say I am on track. We have a lot of fun pics to share since we went on our first plane trip with Pierce - we went to DC. Pierce did pretty good going up - he was awake most of the plane ride except for last half hour. He was a busy guy. The change in pressure did not effect him one bit. He did great in DC and out of the places we visited (spy museum, ford theatre and house across street, zoo, Washington monument) the zoo was his favorite place! We made the most of the trip even with Pierce and D getting better from a cold. The weather was absolutely wonderful there too - we actually packed for much colder weather. We rode the metro train all over (did not rent a car) and Pierce really like that. We are back home and trying to get back into the grove of things. Then Thanksgiving is coming up and we have to still figure that out! Hope everyone is doing well and more pictures are to come! Thanks for your patience again.

Babysit Coop

So 5 of the ladies in the playgroup decided to try out a rotating babysit coop (included me). So we had our first one on 10/24 - and yes it was my turn to leave Pierce. First time doing this kind of thing and of course I was nervous and was like what am I going to do with out Pierce. It went well and Pierce had a great time. Here is the group of kids.

Halloween

Here was J other costume that he wore on Halloween.

Funky Monkey Pierce - this was the name given to him as we trick or treated.

Here is the family costume pic - I was a candy corn witch, J was Shaggy and Pierce was a monkey.
Pierce dressed up in the monkey costume. Pierce also had a cow costume, but we for some reason did not get any pics of him in it! He was adorable.

Rocking Chair

The rocking chair has become a favorite item lately - to get on and off, to rock and then mr danger boy comes out and standing he tries before getting in trouble. Pics taken 10/27

Pumkin Patch 2

Pumpkin Patch 1

So we went to the SweetBerry farms pumpkin patch on 10/22 - was a family playdate I set up. It was so much fun and the weather could not have been prettier!
The day was full of a picnic, a hay ride, visiting a donkey and her baby, and playing with pumpkins and getting some homemade icecream!

The Zoo

10/18 Well grandma came to visit for a few days so we went to the Austin Zoo. You can't really tell by these pictures since they don't have any animals in them. Grandma had such a blast showing him around and helping him explore, look at animals and ride the train. It was a great trip to the zoo!

Mr Helpful

Okay, first note the socks - he had to wear moms socks - not his - so you can see the heels (gray part) and he had to wear some shoes we have for him that are a bit big for him. But he was ready to help.

Well once Pierce and Tyka got pettered out - mom was there to pick them up with the stroller. Tyka now rides on top - like a hood ornament.

Pierce loves his toy car - he gets in and rubs his tummy looking at you (means please) and could be pushed around in it forever! 10/10

Pecan Street Festival

We went to the Pecan Street Festival for the first time with cousins in Austin. It was a lot of fun, food, and wonderful things to look at! Pics taken 10/1

Update

Well I have finished posting all the pictures for September. I hope you enjoy them. I will start working on pictures taken in October. But before I did that, I wanted to give you an update on all the things that happened in October - mainly what Pierce was up to.

Pierce has started to say more words. These include dog, cat, bird, fish, bath, dirty, dark, cheese, night night.

Along with words he has learned the following signs: milk, please, thank you, more, all done

Pierce loves to help around the house now. He helps feed the dogs, put their food bowls up after they are done, water the plants outside, dusts with the swiffer, and sweeps

He loves to take showers, loves to have shoes on his feet, loves to get pushed around in his toy car, loves to have the leash put on Tyka and takes her on a walk, he has started to color some, can crawl up on his horse, will retrieve print outs from the printer and bring them to you. He knows how to open all our doors now - so we have to be very careful now making sure they are locked. He has started to feed himself with utensils.

He has taken to reading books more now. He will bring a book to you and want you to read it to him. He loves the interactive books where he can point at things, push, pull touch, etc.

Hopefully in the next few weeks I can get some pictures out there to show you all these great activities he is doing! Hope everyone is doing well!

Fun times in September

We went and had a great dinner with some friends at Whole Foods and then went to the playground and let them play. It was a great evening of food, friends and play!

These two pics are of Pierce after going grocery shopping and getting a balloon. He is so funny! You make a silly noise and he will make a funny smile and make a fake laugh.
