So now that I am caught up with June pictures I will get July pictures out there. I apologize again for getting so far behind. I will try to do better. Hope everyone is doing well!

June Nebraska Pics - 2

Okay so these are the last pictures for June. Wow, I am slowly getting caught up! I hope you are enjoying the pictures! When we went to Nebraska we went to D's grandparents 60th wedding anniversary at a nursing home. This home has a great bird cage in which Pierce loved watching all the birds (the bottom picture). The next one above it is Pierce showing off that he can now walk all over the place with someone holding his hands. There is a great picture of D's grand parents holding him. Pierce was more interested in the cane, but they had a good time sitting with him. Pierce had fun playing with his cousin's toys while we were there. Here are a couple of them he played with a dinosaur cup and a coon-skin hat (don't worry - not real fur). And the top picture is Pierce cruising around in his first bar. We met some of D's aunts and uncles at a bar/restaurant that was big and not busy so Pierce cruised around looking at everything (really liked looking at the shotglass collection that you can see behind him).

June Nebraska Pics - 1

Here is the first set of pictures from our trip to Nebraska. This was our first long road trip with Pierce up to see D's side of the family. The pics outside are at a Cracker Barrel on our way up there. Pierce in the mirror was Pierce really enjoying the hotel rooms. He had so much to play with. These were him having fun looking at himself and giving himself kisses. The top picture is Pierce playing with a VW toy car that his great grandpa gave him to play with.

Here are some more fun swimming pictures. Pierce still likes to try to get on your back even at the swimming pool! Pierce sometimes looks like he is ready to help me with chores, but the tools are just too big! And Pierce and Tyka have had fun playing with each others toys. Tyka will play tug of war with Pierce too!

Watch out if you give him mash potatoes - he goes crazy!!! And he loves the game where he rides on your back like a little monkey and loves his push toys. He also loves to help get the dogs ready with their leashes to take them on a walk.

Here are the first set of June Pics. Pierce continues to like to play in the cabinets. The one with Pierce playing with another boy was at a playdate and the two of them were playing hide and seek behind this curtain - it was hilarious! Pierce walking with his push toys has been a huge hit lately. Pierce when he is tiered of swimming will lay with dad in the beach entrance part. So sweet!

So before posting pictures for June, here are some updates on what has been going on since the last post. Not too much going on for me and J. J is currently working on installing everything for the theatre room - it is coming a long nicely - but a lot of work. I can't wait for it to be done. It will be really nice. I haven't done too much out of the norm - clean house, grocery shop, play with Pierce, etc. Pierce has been up to some fun things lately. First, bags - he loves them. He loves to try to pull them around the house - not forward though, he pulls them while he scoots backwards. Very cute! Then he knows how to turn on the water in all the bath tubs - on off, on off. Libby comes in to drink the water and he pushes her away. He has also seen us blow on his food before feeding him if it is hot. So now he blows on his food before he eats it - very cute!! He loves animals! When he sees a squirrel, a bird, a cat, a dog - he points and starts going ew ew ew ew ew and wants to go after them. He also is so strong now that he will get our chairs in the kitchen and start pushing them around everywhere. He likes to try to climb up on things such as his walkers, the dog bowls, etc. And in just the last few days, he is taking a lot of steps on his own. It used to be only to come to me or J. But now, he can stand up, look at where he wants to go and just goes - he takes about 10-15 steps on his own and can stop in the middle and stand and then take off again. Sometimes his face is just concentrating so hard. It is so much fun to see and just amazing then I think oh my I am in trouble!!! We have given him baths in the big tub lately. He loves going to the pool. He will outstretch his body and kick some when you hold him under his belly. J has taken him under the water a few times. But Pierce's favorite thing to do at the pool is to play with the lawn chairs - push the backs up and down and also bang on the tables. He loves to make things work. I think that is about it. Alright, here are the last pictures to share from May. Wow, I can't believe how far behind I am. I will take a break after this and tomorrow I will post pictures from June. These pics are of Pierce playing with the dog cages (he loves to play with them and in them), more pics at the water park and swimming and just playing.
