Heath's checkup

I love my little leprechaun! Today we had Heath's 9 month check up (though he is 10 months old). Everything checked out perfect. Nothing too exciting to report. There were no shots this time, just a toe prick to check his iron - and that came back normal. His stats are great too Weight: 22lbs 2oz (50-75 percentile) and Height 31 inches (95 percentile). Heath is only about 10 pounds lighter than his older brother who is almost 3 years older than him - watch out Pierce! Hope everyone is having a great March! Loving this spring-like weather and we are not looking forward to losing an hour this weekend (thought it will be nice to have an hour more of daylight).

Third and final set for February

Another favorite of Heath's now is to watch the dogs out the back window. And there is Pierce who loves to be silly! 2/18/09

Heath is so mobile now - goes anywhere he wants when he wants. He also loves music - anything that makes noise - drums, guitar, keyboard, to banging the metal dog bowls. He is hilarious. 2/18/09

With some of Pierce's money he saved up he decided he wanted to buy this fireman costume. He was so excited to wear it. Unfortunately after wearing it for a short time the buckle part fell apart. So as many of you who know Pierce this was very traumatic. We took it back to the store and they do not have anymore. So we are on the lookout for another fireman costume. 2/14/09

We had a sad moment for both Pierce and James on Valentines. James decided to sell his motorcycle. Here is their last picture enjoying the bike together before the new owner picked it up. New toys and memories to follow. 2/14/09

If Heath is really tired at dinner time, you just rock the highchair back and forth and he will go to sleep. Not sure why it is so easy here and so hard in his crib to get him to sleep sometimes. He took a 30 minute nap here and woke up ready to eat again. 1/30/2009

Happy New Year

Happy New Year a little late. We hope everyone has had a great January. We have been busy getting back into the swing of things after the holidays - and we had a great holiday. Since I got so far behind at the end of the year, and it is a new year I am going to just start posting pictures from January on - sorry for those keeping up with how the boys are growing that you will miss a few months - I am just not able to get caught up - so we are going to start a new. One thing I will say, from experience though - DO NOT let your children hold sparklers - they burn at temperatures as hot as a welding machine - so if they get burnt (which Pierce did) - it most likely will be a 2nd degree burn or worse! With that - here come the pictures!
